Amazon Basics Litter Scoop with Holder – Gray PP Plastic, 1 Count

Description

Product Overview

The Amazon Basics Litter Scoop with Holder is engineered to provide cat owners with a clean, convenient, and durable solution for daily litter maintenance. Crafted from high-quality gray polypropylene (PP) plastic, the scoop offers a perfect balance of strength and lightweight handling, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of frequent use without cracking or breaking. Its ergonomic design features a smooth, curved scraping edge that effortlessly removes clumped or caked litter, while a series of strategically placed slats trap waste and allow clean litter to cascade back into the box. The integrated holder hangs discreetly on the side of the litter box, keeping the scoop concealed yet always within arm’s reach. This thoughtful arrangement helps maintain a tidy environment, reduces the likelihood of accidental spills, and eliminates the need for separate storage containers. The product dimensions of 6.7″ x 3.2″ x 11″ provide ample surface area for efficient scooping while remaining compact enough to fit most standard cat litter boxes. With a weight of just 5.28 ounces, the scoop is easy to maneuver, even for users with limited hand strength.

Usage

Designed for versatility, this litter scoop works seamlessly with any scoopable litter type, including traditional clumping clay, crystal-based litters, and natural wheat or corn alternatives. Whether you maintain a single-cat household or a multi-cat environment, the scoop’s generous size and efficient waste-trapping slats make it suitable for daily cleaning routines. To use, simply attach the holder to the side of the litter box using the built‑in hook, ensuring the scoop hangs at a comfortable height. When the litter becomes soiled, lift the scoop, scrape the clumped waste with the curved edge, and allow the clean granules to fall back through the slats. The trapped waste can then be disposed of in a trash bin or composted according to local regulations. Because the holder keeps the scoop off the floor, it remains dry and hygienic, reducing the spread of odors and bacteria. This product is ideal for indoor apartments, suburban homes, and even veterinary waiting rooms where quick, efficient litter maintenance is essential.
